Gluten & Eczema

Post by Joefnh »

I ran across this article today regarding gluten and Eczema. Not a bad writeup regarding the Eczema. I certainly have noticed an increase in the number of diseases that some in the medical community are starting to look at the role of gluten as part of the disease process.

Joe,

The article is somewhat helpful, and it's certainly a step in the right direction, but it contains a lot of technical errors, due to being a "medically correct", (out of date), viewpoint. The responders were not very kind to the author, and they corrected most of his errors.

Looking at those responses, though, and the way that precious few of them were willing to cut him any slack, it's pretty clear that most people who are gluten-sensitive, are getting pretty fed up with the "official" medical viewpoints on the gluten-sensitivity issue, in general. They seemed to have a "lynch mob" attitude.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
