I would really love to know for sure if it is indeed gluten that is causing my MC, but there is just no way to come up with the money to get it done. I am wondering if anyone here has had success with getting your insurance to pay for it? If so, how did you go about it?

I didn't have any insurance at the time that I ordered the tests, but if you will call Enterolab, (or e-mail them), they can give you the insurance claim numbers, (or whatever they're properly called), for the specific tests that you're interested in, and you can check those numbers with your insurance company, to see if they will pay for the tests.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
