Louis I have been following your posts on Rene. I just wanted to extend my best wishes and prayers for Rene's recovery.

Wow, that did seem fast (probably not when you are living it though).

You know, it's interesting - it can take months sometimes, just to get an appointment with a GI doc, but the surgeons are always ready to go, on a moment's notice. I've had surgery only twice in my life, but both times, the surgeons were ready to go, almost immediately. The biggest holdup was me making up my mind, the first time, (which took 2 or 3 hours, before I signed on the dotted line), and the second time, the only delay was the time required for the intensive care nurses, and the surgical team to prep me for the surgery. Surgeons don't mess around - they get the job done. :lol:
