Jill, it makes me feel cooler by just looking at your avatar. I don't know about you, but it's been pretty hot down here. I could use a couple of snowflakes about now. I hope they stay in the mountains, though, so people like you can SKI. Last year was a pretty lame ski season, I guess.

Lots of love and WHEEEE!!!!

I am a anxiously awaiting cooler weather so that I can get some  I sleep in an ice cold room, but wake up hot every hour or so. I have been a prisoner in my house these past few weeks...temps here in So OH have been in the high 90's, and was 102 yesterday.

Thanks for the cooling image, Jill.

Love,

Geri

Jill,

You're more than welcome.

Hi all....yup, it's hot here too! I went to work yesterday afternoon...I teach crafts from 3-5:45 to a group of International students...anyway, I pulled-up with the fire trucks...very scary...no fire as it turns out, but they think the extreme heat on the 4th floor set off the heat detectors, hahaha...now that's hot! My new art room on the 3rd floor has air conditioning...what a blessing!

I ski at Snoqualmie Pass, about an hour and half away. I volunteer for a ski school, so am up there every Saturday and other days without the kids. I had my skis on twice last year because of the lack of snow....we had to cancel ski school after two Saturdays....the ski area had to close! Hiss boo...I will be ready this year, and if there isn't snow here, I will try to go find some.....har har....TTFN....JJ

I'm with Sally...makes me feel cooler just looking at it. Its not dreadfully hot right now, but humid as all get out, so it FEELS wicked hot.

Being an art teacher I'm sure you know about Snowflake Bently...the guy who figured out how to photograph snowflakes, and that each is a completely different pattern, who also happened to be a Vermonter...but thats what it reminds me of.
