I have a cold
I know that isn't the end of the world, but I feel yukky. My head Where is a sore throat icon when you need it? My dose is all stuffed up. I had some Thai Kitchen chicken and rice noodle soup and it had some spices in it. That seems to have cleared it up a bit except now by dose is rudding.
I took all the 1/3 full boxes of Kleenex I have around the house and put everything in one box. I travel around the house with my Kleenex under my arm and dragging a paper bag behind me. The Bag Lady. As Miss BN would say, UFF!! And more UFF!!
I put some Vicks on my chest and now Abigail won't come near me.
I am having a of tea with honey and lemon. I need a of whiskey in it, but I can't drink.
Life sucks.
Love,
Sally

Bummer Sally! Hope the Ahh Choo's go away soon! I hate colds, first the nose is stuffed up, then it runs! YUK
My cockatiel (Sydney) makes a strange chirp (well kinda) every time I sneeze - he's funny! I think he's imitating me!
Hope you feel better soon!

"Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful." -- Buddha
Yes, Lori, I see that it has been hot the last few days. I've been outside to get the mail and take out the garbage, but other than that, I've been in the AC. When I get out into the heat I feel like my brain has melted and is coming out my nose. I don't need anything else coming out my nose!!!
How do I feel? Still like I have a cold. I am grateful for every day that it doesn't go into my chest, though. I don't take OTC cold meds because they dry me up so bad and then everything ends up as bronchitis. I have learned just to suffer and blow my nose. I have a very Rudolph-like nose now. I am not attractive, that's for sure. Never mind, I have to go out today and go to the grocery store. My cupboard is bare. It's seems to be quite cool out so I will go early.
Sniffle snuffle and lots of love,
Sally
BTW. Thai Kitchen green onion and broth is very good. The onions are dried and they give the broth (chicken?) some flavor. There is just enough spice in it to clear my head. I have been living on the stuff.
