GO EAGLES!!! Boy am I ready for some football.
Eagles may have shot themselves in the foot with the signing of T.O. and Westbrook and now with Pinkston hurt, etc. the Super Bowl bound team is going the way of most Philly teams when push comes to shove.
Can watch when we are in the U.K. since they have satellite TV. YEAH!!

Well-
I never got into football - even when the Niners dominated during the 80's. It is still early August - if feels *wrong* - like stores with holiday decorations up already
It is still mid-baseball season which is my sport of choice (even if my team has no hope for post-season play 
) It is also sad that the players MY age are *old timers on the verge of retirement* - I remember going to games in my early 20s with my good friend and besides watching the games - evaluating the players was a big part of the fun

Players my age retired long ago. I was upset when Joe Montana retired, because he was my age.
The tight pants that the players wear doesn't hurt my desire to watch football!
I know what you mean about it being too early, but Football makes the approaching cooler weather bearable for me.

The Eagles still have a good chance, someone has to beat the Patriots! I think they were very wise to keep Westbrook, and TO is good, if hard to tolerate.

I don't think there'll be a problem here with the hockey fans returning. They interviewed a bunch of people on the news and the majority can't wait for it to start. Of course there are some that are disgusted by the whole thing, but for the most part there are some pretty die-hard fans out there.
