Good news, Rich. I've just tweaked my Entocort dosage to 3 every four days; 2 the other days. It's working and keeping Norman here.

I'm considering ordering a bunch of Entocort pills overseas. Do you remember how many you ordered and how much the shipping was?

Hi Gloria,

This is good news for you. I am so happy for you!!!

I think I ordered a 3 month supply for just under $250. That would be at the 3/day dosage. Don't recall what the shipping portion was. Seemed reasonable based on the quantity. And though I don't respond as well as others, it does seem to be AS effective as the expensive stuff.

But I can tell you that I am glad I built up a reserve as it takes forever to schedule an appt with me doctor. Not enough GI docs around here. Good luck to you!!! Let me know how much you order and what the total with shipping is.

Hmm. That's higher than I expected. I thought it was 65 cents a pill. I get a 3-month supply through DH's insurance for $50. The problem is that he will be retiring in a year, and it's quite possible I'll still be taking it. I have about a 3-month surplus supply right now, but I would like to have more on hand.

Maybe my question should be directed towards those who have Medicare prescription coverage. I'll put that in a separate post. Thank you for your response.

Actually, it's listed at 45 cents per pill, ($4.50 for 10). A 3-months supply, (270 capsules), should cost $121.50 plus shipping. Maybe Rich meant just under $150, (including shipping).

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Tex,

I think you are correct. I get all of my medical expenses mixed up.
