Arlene,

Guar is a legume. Not everyone who is sensitive to soy, is sensitive to other legumes, but many are.

Gabes,

Glad you were able to watch the address by Steve Jobs. His words really hit home for me, as you can tell. He clearly put a lot of thought, and a lot of himself, into it. He truly is a gifted man.

With respect to following my heart, I am so tired right now that I think my heart is telling me to hide away from the world for a while. But the vanity of life does not necessarily give me the luxury to do so right now. Or perhaps it does and I simply haven't put my priorities in line.

If I didn't feel icky most of the time, I wonder what my heart would be telling me? I probably wouldn't even be asking the question. I guess I still don't know what my heart truly wants, except for peace, absence of pain, and absence of symptoms (or is that what my body wants). But isn't that what we all want?

Sigh...

i think the answer to your question is like the maze we endure for the management of MC. it is getting the right combo/balance of all the elements that are having influence and figuring out what works for you.

it is also overwhelming to think (admit) a condition like this could have so many variables and impact on our lives.

I feel very grateful, and blessed that the changes i could make to optimise my wellness did happen, they have proven worthy of the mental, emotional, and monetary inputs i had to make.

there will be events (dots) that will occur in your life, you will be more aware of them now as there are a myraid of elements that affect decisions you will make
if you put the time in to assess and figure out what your heart wants it will happen, yes it may mean change or multiple changes or giving up something that has been a part of your life for a long time, in my case the elements of the new are far more valuable to my wellness than anything I had previous (i hope this makes sense)

Dear Toomanyhats

It is on Microsoft word.

The smallest version uses a small typesize and has the "can eat" list on one side and the "cannot eat" on the other. It can also be reduced on a photocopier and then cropped.

The laminated version fits in my wallet. I joke that for that I need to have a magnifying glass in my wallet to give the chefs. But actually they can read it ok.

Best, Ant

Gabes

Thanks. You have a unique way of getting to the "heart" of matters. I am listening too.

I will keep trying to find my balance. I'm hoping for that "ah ha" moment that will present itself when I least expect it, but perhaps the MC is that "ah ha" moment.

sometimes the right thing doesnt come with ah ha moment...... (it did prior to MC)
I have realised that for me the right thing is when i feel calm, settled and well.....
