Pole Cat and Ms 22. cal

Post by annie oakley »

Yesterday I let Jasmine and Buck out between rain showers to potty. I looked around as I do for snakes and critters etc....when I spied a pole cat sitting on the pile of wood that once was a house maybe 150 ft or more from me....So I eased on out the gate to my truck and quietly opened the door and got out my 22. pistol and eased on back inside the yard. Pointed the 22 ans shot about three times....felt like I only nicked it..but I heard a crashing and banging going on in my trailer. Jasmine and Buck were standing very close to me when I shot and it scared them. I went inside and Buck was hidden deep under the desk...Finally coaxed him out and he got calm. Jasmine however was shaking like a vibrator and it took me 30 minutes to calm her. She was better later on. I totally forgot they were so close. By the way When we came home last weekend all 11 quail eggs had hatched and were somewhere out on the land. Yeah! I say for mother nature! Have a great evening all. Love Oma

Wow, Oma!! You have found the cure for depression. Get you a .22 and go out and shoot a bunch of skunks!! If I ever come to visit you I will make sure I phone first. Of course, maybe that won't be necessary since I don't have a white sripe up my back and I don't stink THAT bad!!

Poor doggies. I hope they are peaceful now.

You are a character.

Love,

Sally
