hi All,
I posted originally around Thanksgiving, after my MC diagnosis and 3 months of feeling ill. I had lost 10 pounds and before I went on Entocort even the Lomotil wasn't helping. I'm very happy to report that I was on the Entocort for about 3 weeks (3/day) before I began to wean down. Since I was feeling so much better I began to eat my usual varied diet that included dairy, gluten, soy, etc. I continued to wean off the drug and have been symptom free for about 8 weeks now. No meds and no diet restrictions and feeling terrific. Good old Norman and "Connie" visit me now and Dee is gonzo. If I begin to feel symptoms again, I will try restricting my diet, but so far so good!

Clare,
That is great news, and the results were achieved so quickly. I would, however, pursue the GF, DF, SF, etc. dietary changes as you may still be feeling the residual effects of the Entocort in your system. IOW, don't push your luck :) Now that you have found some level of remission, you need to maintain it via natural methods (diet).
