Made a Decision

Post by annie oakley »

I think part of my stress right now is my job.....I have had some problems with a couple people there (jelous because I can do as much if not more than them ) My boss wants me to take manager training which would put me over the problem people. So I am going to take the training...if I don't like it then I can quit. Had a heated disscussion with the frog person in boss's office today. CAlled her on a lie she told. Boss told her she would stop all mistreatment of me as of today. Frog person is an asst manager...I would be her boss if I take that position. Other problem is leaving the store for another store. What 'd ya think gang? :bandevil: Love Oma

Go for that manager training, Oma!!! It's not like you will be making a lifelong commitment to the company. Maybe you'll be very happy and successful and get paid more money. And if it doesn't work out to your satisfaction, you can leave. Just say "ta ta" and go to work somewhere else. Good luck!!!

Love,
Carrie

I think I'd go for the training also. It certainly can't hurt and may be useful elsewhere if it doesn't work out for you there.

Congratulations Oma!

Your boss see's potential in you to offer management training. That's great- I'm sure it's a confidence booster in light of the problems with the other employees your are having.

Go for it, and don't look back. You must be doing a GOOD JOB. :shakehands:

Remember too, along with more responsibility comes more :dollarsign: to put in your :piggybank: to save for the upcoming Potty People gathering! See how things always seem to work themselves out?

Oma,

It is wonderful to see you grow and take on this challenge - I know it isn't a small step for you; personally, I would be terrified but you are NOT. I am going to cross my fingers for you and I will be looking for more posts from you to read about the progress you are making. Thumbs up for you!!

Love,
Karen

Good decision, Oma. :bear: You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. If you hate it, quit or stay as you are. If you like it, be the boss! You have a lot of good sense and will be a great manager! Hope you got a good night's sleep and you can give your knees a rest today.
