Hi Gloria I'm glad your starting to feel better.
Maybe pulling your leg of lamb ...
My cooking skills to date have been limited to animal flesh cooked over open fire... I guess I have been a real caveman. Admittedly this recipe used the kitchen oven, but actually this is the only 'real' recipe that I ever used the oven for prior to MC. I even had to look up the recipe of how to make ice...
I can however brag about my BBQ / grilling skills they are second to none, mostly learned when I lived in Austin Texas in the late 80's. But when it comes to real cooking skills, until these past months they have been non-existent. Fortunately early on Gabes got me started along the right path to make some good safe MC foods. I have also been looking in Dee's kitchen for some new things to try next.
Any suggestions of what to try next?

Hey Joe-
Great to hear your progress both health wise and cooking.
You might try “Polly’s Sticky Chicken” Easy, delicious in the crock pot or the oven. One of my easy favorites. If you do it in the oven it might be best to cover it with foil paper for the first few hours.

You can make several meals of it . Just use your imagination for soups or chicken and rice or chicken and root vegetables. Lots of wonderful stock to work with.
Hard to believe that Polly once also considered herself cooking impaired like you.
