This is terrific - thanks for sharing. There is hope after all. Joe, note in this study that those with Crohn's averaged 3 food intolerances each. You have been a true pioneer in the Crohn's/diet arena. Is the paradigm FINALLY shifting? Let's all keep our fingers crossed.
Hugs,

ibrown thanks for posting this. It is about time that the medical community is looking at food as a source of health issues...I would call that just good old common sense...
Polly I can count at least 3 food intolerances already, I go next Thursday for the MRT testing, it was delayed due to the snow up here. I did read the viewers comments and there was one listing by a Linda Stewart about a MC forum with hundreds of members that she is a member of, does that name sound familiar?

Unfortunately, the wheels of progress turn excruciatingly slowly in the field of gastroenterology. That article is almost 4 years old, but it doesn't appear that very many GI docs are even aware of it, judging by their attitude concerning food sensitivities.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
I just responded to the comments on this site...

I hope it gets posted there."The results were compelling" this report said some years back, but I see no change in the standard position the medical industry takes on this. Perhaps there is no money to be made from a diet recommendation? But then governments, tax payers, insurance companies and people who pay insurance premiums - all of whom fund the medical industry - should ask WHY.

Unfortunately, those researchers are using blood tests to check for IgG antibodies, but that's better than nothing, of course.
