Tex always go with your first intuition... not bad though.
Harma thanks for the good thoughts and the very best wishes for you and all of your adventures. This has been an interesting ride this past year.
Gabes a special thanks for helping out with ALL of my many many many questions.. Do you think all of the alerts and warnings will be enough? The good new is I drive on the wrong side of the road here so I should be all set there.
Everyone else thanks for all the good thought and wishes.
Nestle seems to be taking this in stride, she just rented a local movie called Surfing Dingos Down Under...
Next stop Brisbane

CONGRATULATIONS Joe!
It could not have happened to a more wonderful and giving person. Not only will it be a place that is in line with your restricted diet but one that has so many opportunities. I am envious as I guess most of us are. You are defintiely a gifted and also giving person and I am sure the University will benefit from your talents.
Best of luck to you and Nurse Nestle.
Love the movie for her.
Love, Maggie

Can you please explain to a total outsider what Yoda is? Is it a kind of english but putting words in different sequence? or should I say words put sequence different in?
I was just wondering thinking of you Joe, how far away will you be living from Gabes, once you are there. But I saw the answer in gabes last message, two hours (I hope that is drive, not fly). That is excellent, moving to the other part of the world and having a potty people friend only two hours away. And it must be awesome to be able to visit a friend and no worries about food and diet at all. Because the friend you're visiting is how surprizing on the same diet.
I wish there were some members from Jordan here.
Things are coming closer now, two weeks to go. Next week a handy man will come over for some last fixing on the house. You know how it works, never do it for yourself but can't let somebody else live here with well holes in ceilings and paint blattering of a wall (the paint I'll do myself)
We (my tenant and I) agreed on the rental contract which is of course a standard contract, but also with some creativity of me (how to make a contract that is secure for both party, but also flexible enough to anticipate of new developments in future). She got her visa, so I will book my flight tomorrow, a single flight.
The last time in September, of course I also went for three months and it was a big adventure, but than it felt more temporary. This time I have the feeling of leaving permanent. I am going to have a goodbye party in the weekend before I leave. Like this time it is for real, more final. I am much more nervous about it.
And I keep on questioning myself, do I take the right decision. Of course only time will give me the answer. But what I do know, if I don't do it now, I will regret it more not having done it, than in case it fails I have tried it.
We're becoming global nomads here. Who's next???

Harma Yoda was the character in the Star Wars movies starting in 1977. He is the little character that teaches Luke Skywalker the use of the 'Force'. He is about 1 meter in height and looks like Vladamir Putin LOL.
He does have a way of talking where the words in a sentence can be reversed.. Yoda speak
Understand now you do...
Harma where Gabes is at now is about a 2 hour drive from where I will be living in Brisbane.

Dear Harma and Joe
Just read this post! Or should I say novel of "People with MC who have life and adventures galore". I never thought when I joined this support group I would have so much fun just reading about life. But, I was wrong....and it all makes sense.....we find ways to tame the MC Monkey so LIFE, in all its variety, CAN GO ON.
Your adventures prove that!
Many thanks, Ant

CONGRATULATIONS Joe - what an accomplishment in this day and age to receive such an outstanding opportunity. It sounds like you and Nurse Nestle are in for an incredible adventure. If I understand you correctly, this has been a life long dream for you??? So glad you have a local nearby to help ease the transition - someone with MC to boot!!!
I was very young when I left my home country (all of 19), and missed my family terribly the first few years. After about 5 years I moved back home, but quickly realized that I preferred life in the US, and only stayed for half a year. I can't remember if you have family around you in NH? Anyhow, I'm so thrilled for you that you're getting the chance to fulfill your dream and wish you the best of luck with the transition .
Love,
Kari

Kari I have been pondering for quite a while now the possibility of retiring there one day. This is a little early for retirement, but the opportunity for several reasons is a great one. This is one of those times its just the right time to follow your heart.
I do have family in NH but we are not that close. My kids are now just about through college and moving on.
I am looking forward to the move. Over the years I have made what will now be 10 trips to Oz in April. I have found that I love the area and have found the Aussie people to be incredibly friendly. The job looks excellent and will be a nice way to round out my career.
Of course having such a great friend nearby who understands the challenges of dealing with MC is certainly a great and wonderful bonus. Gabes certainly has made the process infinitely easier.
