I thank everyone for trying to help on this board. Like I said before, my slides were rechecked and docs have said I do not have MC. The Xifaxan seems to have worked so it could have been SIBO. My anxiety is horrible and I am trying to get on on new meds. Thanks everyone for all your help. Its not that I dont want to accept the dx, its that I dont have it. As I have seen from other people on the board it can go into remission so, I dont know. Please u dont have to answer me back. I think i may actually stay away from the websites for a while.
Thank you for ur support guys. I know no one on here means any harm. But with people like me that have high anxiety, I am very sensitive and some comments really bothered me and made me feel worse. U guys are all so knowledgeable, but u gotta give dummies like me a chance...lol
It is ironic because my new GI doc is also looking at my slides too. He is not quite convinced of my MC diagnosis. Now years ago I did try a long course of Rifaximin, but I saw not long term resolution of my symptoms. I did the SIBO test at the Cleveland Clinic pre-Rifaximin and it was negative.
