Poll question re: lipomas
Just reflecting on other health matters, and wondering if there's any connection. As I remember, it was around the time when I was first Dx that I noticed a lipoma. I had it removed years later and it hasn't returned, and I haven't had others. I am aware that some celiac patients have them.
Also, the tendency to get lipomas seems to run in families, and they have no known cause - remind anyone else of MC?

I have one on my right forearm. I don't know when it originally showed up, but I first noticed it somewhere about the time when my symptoms first began.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Me too!
I was just diagnosed 1 week ago and I had a lipoma removed from my back in April! Might be on to something!

I have two lipomas, one right above my belly button and one underneath my breast bone. They are right in line with one another. Not sure how long they've been there as I have recently lost 25 lbs., which included some abdominal fat. My PCP says that there's really no reason to remove them unless they get larger and are pressing on something.
