The diet listed seems so counterproductive.

How are you feeling, by the way? When you're up to it, I'd be interested in what you're trying and how you're doing. (I'm newish here myself, gradually feeling better/more stable, working on resolving my CC primarily via diet, but taking pepto 4/day till I'm more settled.)

Best to you,
Sara

Dear Orange al

Thanks for starting a discussion on this. Debate is good.... and I, for one, had never even been aware of Proctitis until you brought it to attention. So I learned something today....which is always good.

It sounds like Proctitis its a "catch all" dx for a set of symptoms with different causes. My intuition suggests (as with refractory Celicas and many with MC) that from a diet pov there is more than gluten that will need to be considered.

Best wishes and thanks for posting, ant

Your welcome Ant! I have been researching a bunch of different things, I have LC which shouldn't be causing the fistula and the abscess' that I have experienced. :???: And I found this whole thing on proctitis. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow for this.
