What kind of topical Progesterone cream do you use. I think I want to try some and see if I can start feeling a bit more normal. I am post menapausal but my body temp is a mess. I hate it. Also, wouldn't mind cutting down on the AC bill - LOL.

Hi, Shirley.

I hear you on the AC bill...LOL. My husband is a thin man, and I am freezing him to death! He said he may as well move to Alaska..LOL.

Everyone should have their hormone levels checked before they use anything. That said, I use OTC Progesterone cream that I bought at Wal-Mart. It is called Progesterone cream..Menopause formula. It costs around twelve bucks. It is very effective, and I noticed BIG improvements in less than one week. I use 1/4 tsp. twice per day..rubbed on a soft area of the body like the inner arms, neck or breasts.

I was having Severe sympotms, and did not want to go on hormones because of the stroke, heart attack risk. I was so bad that I thought I would have a nervous breakdown. I was constantly anxious, nervous, couldn't sleep, fearful. I had gained 10 pounds for NO reason, I would break out in a dead sweat every 20 min or so, and would turn scarlet red from the waist up. I became so bad that I was too embarrassed to go to the grocery, because I got a lot of strange looks while trying to find something to fan myself with, and blood red with my wet hair sticking to my face..LOL.

Anyone who is having these horrible symptoms should talk to their doctors and if they feel that they are low of progesterone..should try this cream. I am a totally different person that I was two weeks ago, and my husband is very happy..lOL. It is definitely not a placebo effect, because I was a serious mess.

If you do decide to try it, let me know how you do on it. I believe it is made of Wild Yam Extract.

Love and hugs,

Geri

Geri, To whom does one go to get hormone levels tested? I don't get too hot...but I do think my hormones may be out of whack. I take no meds, over-the-counter or other.

Shirley, please keep us posted on your progress.

Love,
Carrie

 Thanks!!

I do believe I'll make a run to Wal-Mart in the morning.
If it works for me, my husband will probably want to send you a reward  He's freezing also.
