Thank You Gabes~ :bigbighug:

I really appreciate everyone's love & especially the comfort I've received since my move into my new home. I have a GREAT therapist that is working with me; Debbie Geno is her name. She told me the other day that she looks forward to my sessions because I'm a challenge she doesn't see very often. LOL "You are actually working to get better where I don't see that with some of my other clients."

Gabes, there are sooooo many things that have happened since David died and I believe people or situations happen in our lives for a reason~not by accident. Since my breakdown in Jan. it's actually become a 'blessing' instead of a 'set back'. God & David have been trying to direct me in what way to go & my grief was overwhelming & the loneliness so pain full that I just went into a withdrawl because of issues that I could not handle.

Each day I get a little more confidence back & I don't have to be 'seen & not heard' as my DIL seems to think I should. Since I started putting myself 1st it's become a BIG issue for her and since I'm not staying home & out of sight she feels threatened I'm thinking. She & her Mother are a real piece of work. As long as you abide by there rules & take the same direction on things as they do~they wait with open arms. If you don't agree & you develope some independance~OMG! In there eyes you've become 'selfish & uncaring'~ I'm not that type of person & never have been & I'm tired of being disrespected.

I'm not the one telling my son he has to make a choice between his wife or me. Amanda & her Mother are doing that. It may take some time but eventually Bill, will see where the real conflict started from. Until then I'm going to continue as I have been because it makes me feel good.

:angelpraying: Love You Gabes!

your response made my cry, not because it made me sad but because you have a beautiful, caring, loving heart and soul that seems to beam out of you at the moment...

Joe and I have frequently discussed that with MC in our lives we have to put ourselves first 'guilt free' it is easy to attach the label of selfishiness to those actions (as we are conditioined from childhood into that way of thinking)
I too believe that people and events and even medical conditions like MC, come to you for a reason, as each event occurs in the journey of life there will be people that will be there for you no matter what and others that drift.

My move to Toowoomba and the well publisised floods, bought two friends back into my life that i had not had close contact for a while, 1 of them for about 8 years and another for over 12 years. the time and distance doesnt seem to matter, the elements of what made us friends years ago is there. That will happen again for you and your son, he has to do his grief journey and figure it out his way, it is a true friend who will be there with open arms when the time is right.

thank you for the sunshine that you have bought to my day.

Finally~ I'm admitting to myself that I AM VALUABLE & WORTH SOMETHING. David is no longer with me here but I now know & can honestly feel his presence in my life each & everyday. He is still guarding, watching over & protecting me. :littleangel:

I sure took long enough time to figure that out.

Congratulation Jodi!

It could not have been given to a better person. Your crocheting is beautiful and I am sure it made the patients smile. You are really starting to glow again. It is a wonderful thing to be part of.

You are the best!

Love, Maggie
