I think I have finally recovered from my 5 week long colitis flare up! It's amazing the difference. I feel like I am getting *nourished* from food, and I am much stronger when I train. Still going to be very easy on my body for a while, but oh, thank heavens. Reading all the posts still totally helps even when I am feeling good. I am so grateful for finding you all!!

Taking it easy on your body for a while is a good idea. It's easy to want to push hard when we feel better but our bodies need time to recover after a long flare like that.

@ Zizzle... Sadly, I didn't do much different. The flare just sort of resolved with time. That's one of the truly frustrating things about the colitis is that I cling to the illusion of being able to control it. I mean, i can help it along by choosing carefully what I eat, but really...
