What did you eat today?
OK, time for another meal check. I always enjoy reading about this, because it gives me new ideas.
Here's my lineup today:
BRUNCH-banana, 2 eggs fried in olive oil, Canadian bacon, iced tea (unsweet)
DINNER-hamburger topped with a portabello mushroom and onions (all sauteed in olive oil), fresh steamed broccoli, red beets, herbal peppermint/spearmint iced tea (unsweet), 2 dates
Later I plan to have a fresh peach and some plain walnuts.

Breakfast- fried a home made sausage pattie crumbling it up and mixed it with some roasted root vegetables. Steamed two eggs on top. Kind of like corn beef hash with eggs but not. This works with winter squash also.
Lunch - Leftover cold chicken, Zucchini salad, steam zucchini and or summer squash for a minute or two, cool, dress with a little oil and vinegar, black pepper , marinate in the icebox over night. Roasted root vegetables.
Snack -Fresh Colorado Peach from the farmers market. A few almonds
Dinner- not to exciting. Barbecued Pork chop, fresh green beans with garlic, Butternut squash, small green salad with walnuts sprinkled on top .

Thank you for all the kind words and thoughts last night. I do sincerelly appreciate them.
Instead of reporting on today, I'd just like to report what I had for lunch yesterday because I had a reaction to something I ate then resulting in a little D this time today, approximately.
What I had was a hamburger patty made of some ground meat that's supposed to be ok from a local grocery, but I don't usually buy meat there, but the sis bought it, and she has the same "allergens" and has no trouble with that, so I'm assuming it was ok.
In it I put the same herbs andspices that I usually do, used the same olive oil, etc.
A new thing I had on the side, was 1/4 of an avocado out of one of those packages with four halves sealed in one of those vacuum sealed packages at Walmart. (bil had a coupon...ha!). Nothing in that should've bothered me, I don't think.
Cooked some of those Alexia frozen potatoes that I never have a problem with, so don't think that's it. Put a little ketchup on those and also a little on the burger meat.
Last, had a few pieces of fresh tomato on top of a little lettuce salad, and then, added a little of the Drew's brand (All Natural) Kalamata Olive & Caper Salad Dressing & 10 minute marinade. This stuff is soooo delicious, so that makes me suspicious right there! Ha! It contains several fermented things which I generally try to avoid, particularly since I've tested positive to one species of yeast (brewer's/baker's yeast).
Anyway, among many other ingredients, this stuff lists wine vinegar and balsalmic vinegar.
Many months ago, I ate a different brand of balsalmic vinegar over at the sis's house. There was absolutely nothing that we ate that night, other than the balsalmic vinegar, and I had a DEFINITE reaction to the balsalmic, so haven't eaten it since. Always meant to try it again after I was stable, but never got around to it. This stuff has too many ingredients to say it's the balsalmic, and it's labeled "Dairy, Gluten, Sugar, and GMO free."
Had safe potato chips on the side.
OK, just found something new -- bottle says it's got "sour salt" in it. WHAT is that!?
Just to make sure it wasn't the meat or tomatoes this evening, had a leftover burger patty with a little mustard and a different safe salad dressing with a few little pieces of white onion on top instead of tomatoes.
(I don't usually have a problem with tomatoes, but have been eating them more frequently lately along with the Muir Glen ketchup.
Other thing I didn't have today that had yesterday was the leftover brisket BBQ.
Anxious to see if there's any reaction tomorrow evening. Guess I'll add tomatoes back in if I'm ok tomorrow.
Did take a milk-free probiotic just in case, and probably should repeat tomorrow.
Hmm, wonder if balsalmic is particularly bad about causing reactions in the brewer's/baker's yeast sensitive person? Anyone know?
Sis apparently eats it all the time with no observable reaction to it. Why would this be since we're both sensitive to it according to our stool tests? I wonder if it's not possible that this "yeast" infraction is doing silent harm, so that concerns me.

A few prunes and cashews mid morning
Cold salmon and leftover steamed sugar snap peas.(from my garden) Herbal tea
Corn chips and Newmans Salsa and lots of water
Grilled pork, sweet corn (fresh, from MN) sugar peas and salad with Drews dressing. Glass of merlot with dinner

Afternoon - Veal (chop) prepared with herbs/cayenne pepper in the skillet, cantalope, roasted peanuts in the shell, decaf coffee
After 10K workout, late dinner: Rest of the Veal, a mixed salad w/walnuts and pear, oil/vinegar dressing, more roasted peanuts, several clementines, some prunes, more tea and coffee
