Mags- this one is on the gendered madness of mid twentieth centiry american literature using The Bell Jar and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest as examples.

I'm using a couple of Psyhcologists (i can't spell... i think) as well to describe what madness means.

Katy--

When we were in college, one of my friends dressed as Sylvia Plath for Halloween. She made an oven out of a box and wore in on her head....

 Mags that is brilliant!

I think my uni work would have gone better today if my little Netbook (whom has the name Nora) had not decided that she didn't want to work at all and needed reformatting which took a long time as my Dad couldn't find where he had put the discs for her!

That and I was avoiding the royal wedding by being outside, and when i wasn't doing that, Mum was dying my hair red!

I'm so good at avoiding work, If i did a degree in it, I would ace it!

I got up to watch the royal wedding and am watching it again now. A fairy-tale come true. What a beautiful ceremony! It made my day.

Dear Naty,

How in the world do you do it? - even as a 20 year old, I could not have done what you're doing :). Sounds like you're accomplishing what you set out to do - yeah!!! Congratulations - you must be getting close to finishing up the term?

Love,
Kari
