ok.....i have been pretty good lately going 1-2 times a day sometimes 3x, stool on the very good side....however something strange today. did not go until 12:30 p.m. (usually go shortly after i wake up) went again at 1:30 and again at 3:30....just peed and noticed a string of mucus still in the water.....what the heck? what is that and what is that from????

sorry the mucus was from the last time i had a bm........noticed it when i went to pee....

I sometimes see mucus in the D. Very common in MC. It is more noticeable when the stool is more formed and less frequent. I guess it's just a byproduct of gut inflammation.

Hi, yes it is inflammation..... I went thru a period where I saw mucous quite a bit.....careful, cause you will start seeing weight loss. Maybe you need an antibiotic?

I also saw alot of mucus before I went into remission**every time I drop out of remission I see small amts of it. If I drop out of remission it's usually because I ate something I shouldn't have. Verrrry irriatating. Don't worry about it too much unless it doesn't ever go away**Talk to GI guy about it whe you go again.
