How to post

Post by Matthew »

When you get on the general board you will see a button labeled LOCKED in the upper left. Click on it and a dialogue box comes up to post a new subject and new post

If you want to reply to an existing post that you are looking at you will see two buttons labeled LOCKED. The left one takes you to a the new post dialogue box. The right one takes you to a reply dialogue box

Hope this helps

Love

Matthew,

It appears that everyone other than the moderators is locked out. I never realized we would have a problem with too much security. I hate to set it up where everyone is a moderator. That seems like kind of an overkill, but it would solve the immediate problem.

I can see the problems with everyone being set up as a moderator, also the problems with unlocking. How much work will it make for you/ us either way.

Hi all,

This appears to be a little tricky. Wayne, I thought you had mentioned there would be several different levels of closed Forums; each level being accessible by people who were defined and registered for that level. Are you not able to make a level "below" the moderator level that would be accessible by us all but still excluding people who are not registered users?

Love,
Karen

P.S. If the problem can't be solved easily then perhaps the best temporary solution would be to make all of us moderators - until we figure out a way to separate the two levels and still keep strangers out.
