Third time lucky

Post by Liz »

My knee surgery is finally being done next Tuesday 24th May, after 2 postponements. My surgeon did his back in & he finished up having an operation, his second on his spine. He is now recovered and it looks as though it is all go now though (I hope). I expect to be in hospital 6-7 days all going well.

I expect to be out of action for a couple of months as it is a total knee replacement but hopefully it will be all worthwhile in the end.

Love

Liz

Hi Liz,

That's a heck of a note that your surgeon had to have surgery.

I hope everything goes smoothly with your knee replacement, and the recovery doesn't take as long as you expect, (though I'm sure it will take a long time to completely heal).

I hope Robert is feeling well these days, because I'm sure he'll have a lot of extra duties while you're recovering.

Thanks for the update.

Love,
Tex

Liz,

Good luck with the knee surgery. That's one surgery I hope I never have to have.

Thank you for the good wishes. I am sure it will go well & I intend to do everything that is required to get a speedy recovery.

Robert will look after me well. He is a very good cook as I have taught him everything that I know. :noworries:

He is also good at vaccuumimg & doing the washing & washing up so everything should be A OK.

HI Liz,

Best wishes on a successful surgery and lucky you having Robert. He and my Frank sound like the "Merry Maid" duo. Merry Maids is a service in the U.S. that comes in to do housework. When Frank retired he became the resident Merry Maid and he is quite happy doing it all. Makes me happy too. Still working on the cooking thing though.

Again, good luck and wish you well.

Love, Maggie

Liz Update
I just phoned liz, to see how the operation went, she was home as the operation was postponed again..(so much for third time lucky)

At the moment she is on standby for a slot, based on someone else cancelling...

keep your fingers and toes crossed for her....
