The PNE (Pacific National Exhibition) with Mom this afternoon was a lot of fun. We went to the Super Dogs show and because of Mom's scooter got seats right on the floor! The dogs were incredible and most of them were saved from animal shelters. You can really tell the dogs love what they do and the audience is even allowed to pet them after the show. Mom says as we're leaving "This show is great for kids!" I replied "Heck, it was GREAT for ME!!!"
There was a calf just born that we got to see. Also Clydsedales, steers, shetland ponies, llamas, pigeons, bantam roosters, goats, chicks, gosslings, etc.
No - I didn't go on any of the rides - although some looked pretty tempting I don't think my tummy or my back could have handled them.
Mom's staying on for a few hours to enjoy some of the other exhibits.
Hugz,
PNE

I'm Back
Yes, it was fun and the best part was spending time with Peg. She looked after me by clearing a path through the people so we could get by. You'd be surprised by how many people ignore or step in front of me. A person could get hurt that way - that scooter is not lightweight. Anyway, it was fun and I was so glad to have it so I could wander around all day.
I was a good girl and didn't buy any junk except for some paint pens for decorating my fingernails. The food is terrible expensive - poor Peg and a hot dog and a small fries (no drink) and it cost about $11.00!!! I saw some people with kids who brought their lunches with them. That was wise - It could be a very expensive venture with a couple of kids who want junk food and rides.
I grew up with that exhibition and love going to it. Sometimes it's fun just to people watch. They have reclaimed some of the land to green space and that's a nice place to go for a break form the hubbub. Of course, Peg and I enjoyed the animal exhibits, being the animal lovers we are. First time Peg saw the super dog show and I knew she'd enjoy it. It changes every time they have it, which is three times a day (they change the dogs also to give them a rest) and sometimes I've gone a couple of times in one visit. They have made a video and I'm going to check online to see if I can get it. They had it at the show, but there were too many people milling around to get one. They all get to go down and pet the dogs after the show.
Well, just got in the door, watered my plants and it's time for feet up.
Talk to you all tomorrow.
