For the answer to those questions, please see my second post, (post number 10), in this thread:Butterfly wrote:What's the skinny on this place? Have alot of you used it? Are they good and trustworthy people to work with? Are the results accurate?

This lab is off the radar of the medical community in general, mostly because they don't trust new technology, and they don't like doctors/labs that make sales pitches over the internet, (even though most of them have web sites, and make sales pitches, themselves. ) They don't like Dr. Fine's long hair, and they don't like the fact that he writes and performs rock and roll music as a hobby - it insults their elite dignity, doncha know. Can you say, "professional bigotry"? A few doctors are beginning to become "enlightened", and will order the tests at the patient's request, but many still consider them the modern equivalent of "snake oil".Butterfly wrote:What is the medical community's take on their mail-away lab tests? Do doctors ever order the tests through the lab themselves to give to us?
If you can afford it, (and the tests are well worth the money, compared with the cost of other medical tests in general), it's usually a good idea to try to learn as much from the tests as possible, because they can save a lot of time and suffering. Here are some test results from Enterolab for other members, in case you haven't seen them:
