This lab is off the radar of the medical community in general, mostly because they don't trust new technology, and they don't like doctors/labs that make sales pitches over the internet, (even though most of them have web sites, and make sales pitches, themselves. :roll:) They don't like Dr. Fine's long hair, and they don't like the fact that he writes and performs rock and roll music as a hobby - it insults their elite dignity, doncha know. Can you say, "professional bigotry"? A few doctors are beginning to become "enlightened", and will order the tests at the patient's request, but many still consider them the modern equivalent of "snake oil".

If you can afford it, (and the tests are well worth the money, compared with the cost of other medical tests in general), it's usually a good idea to try to learn as much from the tests as possible, because they can save a lot of time and suffering.
