Morning Mars,
So sorry you are flaring and do hope that it subsides. You have enough issues on your plate.
Kari - I am intolerant to nightshades and react badly. However, potatoes are the only one I can eat and I am known as the queen of potatoes because for the longest time while being a vegan that was the only thing that keep food in me. Much better than that now since I had to add protein to the diet because I was wasting away. Now fish and chicken are on the bill.
Love, Maggie

Maggie - that's a long list of intolerances to have to deal with!!!! Can't imagine what you did when you were vegan. Meat and fish have never been my favorites, but I'm learning to appreciate them since they don't cause problems. I mostly eat smoked turkey and chicken breast, with a very occasional small piece of steak. I'm still trying to figure out the fish.
Thanks for your potato post - it never ceases to amaze me how unique each of us are in our reactions. Also have to make a comment on your "second name". There are a ton of Redwing Blackbirds in my neighborhood because of protected marshlands. There are also Blue Herons. I'm not an avid birder, but I love birds and always notice them wherever I am. I recently went on a raptors trip and saw a lot of hawks, falcons, bald eagles and a horned owl in her nest.
Mars - hope you're doing better and not in bed with the flue and a flare!!!!!!!
Ant - LOL - I second your motion - thanks for always bringing in the humor:).
Warm regards,
Kari

Mars
interesting you mention change of season as a possible trigger......
for most of my childhood i would get asthma at change of season
i have been having minor D instances and change of season might be a contributor.
hope you are feeling better
take care
