And to top it all off, California has an initiative on the ballot to legalize marijuana.
Arizona has it on the ballot also.

No income tax in Washington -- yay!!

New spending measures must be approved by 2/3rds of the legislature -- yay!!

The Oregon bill to set up medical marijuana clinics, similar to California's current law, went down to defeat statewide, although it had much more support here in Eugene, where all the old hippies come to retire! I think that a lot of them were planning on a new business venture if the law passed! :goodvibes:

Yes, I know an old hippie from the Bay Area who's "business" went under after the advent of medical marijuana. It's just too cheap to make a profit from now...
