:) Ginny, the phrase I hear is that if I turn sideways and stick out my tongue I look like a zipper :)

Not really all the funny, I know.

Rich,

I also believe I have a mast cell problem. I didn't get tested for it because I didn't want to go through another colonoscopy. I decided to follow a low-histamine diet and see if it helped. I was surprised to see many of the foods listed as high in histamines to be foods that I had already identified as problematic.

Here is a link to the list of foods high in histamines: http://www.urticaria.thunderworksinc.co ... restricted

I don't take an anti-histamine mostly because I'm already taking too many supplements.

Aww, Rich, I am very sorry to hear you are really not feeling well. Not much I can add to what everyone has said, except that I second that it could be something you are still eating. I did pretty well the first month and a half after I cut out gluten and soy (was already off dairy for many years) and then I started to not be so good again. Apparently once the gluten is out of the way, our bodies start to be able to react to the other foods they cannot tolerate. Like Mary Beth and Gloria, I had to keep looking for other intolerances and found that I also can't eat quinoa, tapioca, corn, and eggs either. It was not until I figured out the eggs that I started to do really well. But the last week or so, I haven't been doing as well as before. So am worried there is something else I am eating that I shouldn't.

I know how frustrating it all is... hang in there. You will get your answers eventually... maybe from your doctors. It can't hurt to ask for more tests, if only to rule out other possible conditions. All information is power..

Thinking of you,

Linda
