I used to get severe leg and foot cramps, also - as you say, sometimes they were almost unbearable. Taking a multivitamin with the "B" vitamins seemed to help, but like Rosie, the diet was my salvation. Before adopting the diet, I had them virtually every night, and occasionally during the day. These days, I occasionally have a minor cramp, but rarely more often than once every couple of months or so, and they are typically mild, compared with what I used to have to deal with.
