Tex that's interesting. I have noticed since all of this started that if I drink Coke it gives me D. It never used to do that

Joe,
Early on, I determined that I could usually drink one, and get away with it, but 2 in one day would give me D, so I figured that it might be a sugar dosage thing, so that's why I cut out all foods with HFCS.

Yeah, I kind of have that thing with lettuce too. Since starting the entocort I have been able to eat a peice of lettuce on a sandwich without bad effects but I just cannot quite bring myself to try a salad yet! I cringe jsut thinking about it.
Odd that you aren't turned off to icecream (NOT!)

Tex, see that someone's commented on your beef stew being good. Will try to find your recipe. Read your cornbread recipe & filed it & will try it eventually. Didn't have an egg today either, so we'll see what happens when I do. Starfire, you are same as me, not wanting sugar in cornbread. A good friend of mine says if God meant for sugar to be in cornbread, He'd have put it in there. Our family once lived in N. Maine in late 50's for awhile, courtesy of Boeing Aircraft, & when my mom fixed cornbread, those neighborhood kids went wild & ate the whole pan w/ stew & their mom's had never heard of it. They had to learn how to fix it, just as mom learned to fix their oyster stew. We all learned from each other the same as this board does.
I know not to brag yet, but the other day before finding this board, but wondering if GF would help, I bought some macaroni products at Wally World, and tonight I fixed goulash & made sure to cook my onions in it good, and so far, have had no rumblings. Usually it's been rumblings w/in an hour at least. I shouldn't say that already, as I know it can be delayed, but no dairy today, no raw veg's, no gluten, am trying hard. The hard part will be Sat. when a bunch of us gals are going to a casino for a gal's birthday & the buffet, IF the weather cooperates. I have to be good, I have to be good.
