Jessica Simpson? That's an old Nancy Sinatra song, as those of us of a certain age will remember, lol.
No snow here, though it's been cool--in the upper 30's and low 40's because it has been sunny. Tomorrow it's supposed to go back up in the 50's for several days, so y'all back east can look for some warming soon.
I've been praying for everyone hit with the snow and that the flooding that is sure to come will not cause much damage. I have a friend in El Paso who is amazingly content with her one-bedroom house and her propane heater, even with an inch of snow on the outhouse toilet seat. I've been praying for Australia, too. All of it makes me grateful for my many blessings.

Joe,
Nice Nurse Nestle pix as usual - she looks like such a kind, good natured dog!!! However, just wondering if she is happy with her boots??? My son has an Australian Shepard, and he has the same boots in red :) - but I don't think he is too enamored with them - tries his best to shake them off .
Love,
Kari

Hi Mags, should I check if they have a people version LOL...
Harma, yeah I will keep them coming, Nestle loves the camera and the attention she gets. She is a real character.
Polly I'm sure there will be more to come. Who knows maybe from a warmer climate where she does not need boots
Marliss now that you mention it I do remember that. A bit before my time.. but not by much.
Nancy I do believe we are now about even with the snow. As I walk down my drive way the snow on either side is taller than I am which is over 6 feet.
I will be up on the roof tomorrow shoveling the snow off it as well to avoid the ice dams. So far all the extra insulation I put into the attic is really paying off in lower heating bills and now I have no icing issues on the edge of the roof.
Kari Nestle is a love and of all the dogs I have had, she has proven to be more than exceptional. It was clear from when she was just 8 weeks old that she had an incredible talent for understanding human language and an incredible capacity for empathy. She is a wonderful friend.
Thanks for all the responses.
