What antidepressant can I take

PLEASE do not try Cymbalta. It started my lovely journey wy/ LAC. It hit me 5 weeks after I started Cymbalta. On my own intuition and the information from this lovely support group, I went to my AD Dr. and asked for a change in meds last week and have not had any DA since 2 days after starting new meds- citalopram 40mag and desipramine 25mag. Iamb 90% sure it also caused my high BP and chest pains. There is a good website aptly named crazymeds.us You can find tons of info on all the meds out there. Of course it's all general info as everyone will react differently to these types of meds.

My little sister is taking cymbalta and tried to commit suicide 3 times while on it, rest assured that I will never take it.

Can you tell me what these abreviations you used mean : wy/LAC and DA ?

Hi,

I will prbably go down that route if the antidepressant doesn't work after 3-4 weeks. I'm pretty sure part of my depression is linked to :
- Allergies
- Painfull experience in my life
- Genetic
- A drug called roaccutane

But right now I need a help to get back on track, and from what I gathered from a few friends that did take anti depressant, they can be of a great help.
