I just had testing done by an allergist ordered by my PCP. I wasn't really looking for any great outcome and didn't get one either. He did the skin test and I proved positive for beef, chicken, almonds, and one other that I forget right now. He told me not to change my diet as he wasn't convinced. He then did the blood testing. Everything came back negative and he actually apologized for inadaquate testing that is available for our kind of food sensitivities. When I went to my gynacologist yesterday for my annual checkup and filled her in, she couldn't believe that the doctors don't considered food intolerances a problem. She said that is the first thing she would look at.
