Leah and Gloria,

So true about shaky marriages and inflammatory bowel diseases. Sadly my best friend is separated from her husband after the 21 year old stepson's 3 year battle with ulcerative colitis. The stepson is fine now after 5 trips to Minnesota and 3 surgeries but again the marriage is crumbling after 3 years of it being "all about the ulcerative colitis." The Dad would not leave the house to go to church with his wife or go out to dinner with his wife say once a month even when the stepson was okay because "something might happen". It was all about the disease for 3 long years and I don't think the marriage will survive it. Brandy
