Hi Mary,
I don't know where in Europe you are going but I know in GB Pepto (usually liquid form but I have never looked for tabs) is readily available over the counter!

Less-than-perfect BMs probably indicate something in your diet that doesn't agree with you.

I know that, it's just trying to figure out what it is. I keep telling myself I'm going to start a food diary again and then don't.

I just pulled out a blank menu planner from the LEAP program and will start tomorrow writing down everything I eat. I am doing Paleo without eggs. Also no chicken, or beef. Absolutely no grains even corn & rice. Lots of cooked vegetables. Very limited fruit. No nightshades.

Sometimes I make a smoothie for breakfast and throw in hemp seeds, flax seed meal, or chia seeds for added protein. I am wondering if it might be one of those. Maybe too much fiber in them?

I've cut out almonds as I eat too many and they came out undigested. Use almond milk for cooking and canned coconut milk for making yogurt. I even made ice cream once with coconut milk. It was great right out of the ice cream maker but when I put it in the freezer it got as hard as a rock.

Well, flax seed meal is listed as a laxative on many home remedy type websites.
Concerns

Taking excessive amounts of flaxseed meal can have a laxative effect on the body, due to a combination of the fiber and oil contained in the meal.

@Anne....I will try my best...lol! I know it's best to look so I can advise my doctors. I suppose the more I do it, the more I'll get used to it. Thanks.
