Do you think my numbers are low? My doc thinks they are perfect. I know not to trust docs too much.

My cholesterol is high. She offered me statins again, and when I refused she said to try Cholestoff and other plant sterols. I can't do rice or almond, but I will check out Cholestoff. See what it has in it.

So she's improving!

I rode my bicycle 100 Miles in a day and was feeling great!!
100 miles a day! Let me catch my breath. I lost it imagining riding 10% of that. I have to really push to walk for 20-30 minutes, and to walk and swim in the water for an hour. Since I have stopped all pain meds my back is so bad I have an awful time walking. My L leg weighs 2-3 tons, so it is hard to lift up to put one foot in front of the other.
Also, I don't seem to be able to increase my muscle strength or stamina. It has always been hard for me to do. I lose it quickly, and don't seem to build it up.
I don't know what causes the exhaustion - MC? Pain? Maybe thyroid? Who the heck knows?

Hey! This is ME!!
figures with me I can never get anything normal.
that was really hard being on the other side of the bed LOL.
That was/is going to be the title of my book. I started to build a website with that name, but didn't get very far.

Your symptoms of exhaustion your high cholesterol, your muscle pain and inability to retain your muscle strength are all symptoms of hypothyroid and / or adrenal exhaustion. I think you need to seek out a natural MD or a homeopath (they are also MDs) that will treat your symptoms not your blood test. I watched the video that someone (I think Deb) posted last week and I agree with all that she said. You need more testing weather it is blood or other natural testing. The woman in the video also recommended the same thyroid I take Naturthroid. Your MD is not unusual, most of our patients get the same song and dance and have to add another resource to get what they need. You may want to consider taking some iodine, Vitamin Research Products sells a wonderful product called Iodoral. it might help some but IMO you will probably feel better on a thyroid supplement.

And as far as your back pain have you ever considered seeing a good Chiropractor?

I can't get my doctor to do the required thyroid tests either. I am in the kaiser system, so I may just keep switching Endos until I find one that will do it. My mid day internal temperature is sometimes as low as 95.5 and only gets up to about 97.1 on good days. I am always cold!

Hypothyroidism is a slam-dunk in your case. That just goes to show how pathetic the current medical procedure for diagnosing thyroid problems actually is.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

I know Tex! This is so frustrating. I already take Synthroid, but it obviously not working well enough for me :(
