Thank you for that information Joe.... here is a photo of what my leg looks like. Not quite as bad as those photos and it's only restricted to this one area.

Zizzle, my PMD is in the process of finding me a rheumatologist. What's interesting is I've been having some lung issues which my pulmonary can't seem to understand. Maybe it has something to do with Lupus? I don't want to be on more meds. If I'm not having symptoms, do I need meds?

I would let you rheumy and GI doc know about it. Has it been there long or is it getting slowly worse?

I've had it for about six months. At first I thought it was eczema as I used to have that but it seemed different. Hydrocortisone helps with itching and it definitely looks better since I have been using it regularly. But it just doesn't seem to want to go away.

I will definitely show it to my Rheum.

My rheumy orders CK whenever we draw blood, so they oredered it yesterday. If I don't get a call, I'll assume all is well! :xfingers:

I do notice it takes longer for me to get over muscle soreness after exercising, but I'm trying not to read much into it. Might just be the prednisone taper.

Regarding your lung symptoms, interstitial lung disease and other autoimmune lung conditions are often difficult to diagnose with standard tests. They often require a CT scan. But a basic first screen could look at your blood oxygenation, both at rest and while exerting.
