HI Jessica. is your doctor worried about gestational diabetes? You should have taken a test for that. It sounds like you just need to eat LOWER carbs and not actually No carbs. Just like those with diabetes, there can be too much glucose ( which is what any carb you eat turns into) in the blood at one time and causes problems. Doesn't sound like you are producing enough insulin right now. you need to spread small amounts of carbs throughout the day. Pregnancy can make things worse, so this diet change might only be temporary.

like tex said, veggies and fruit have carbs, and you probably just need to stick to NATURAL carbs and not PROCESSED ones. Potato and sweet potato would probably be good also. maybe rice in small portions.

I usually have eggs also for breakfast. Sometimes bacon. Can you eat peeled apple, banana, or celery? If so, you can spread our peanut butter on any one of them. just a thought.
