Mcnomore- it is crazy. When looking at that pattern of every 7-8 days I couldn't figure out why that amount of time? Crazy. My GI doc referred to it as a dumping syndrome but every time I looked it up dumping syndrome was described as stomach contents emptying too quickly and I couldn't find any documentation to showed a correlation between dumping syndrome and my pattern. All I know is that I tackled it - with the help of others, like Polly-- with all the detective skills I had and could not find a root cause. Motility had to be the answer.

Carolm-I think the dumping thing sounds possible because I know that when someone has salicylate sensitivity they can eat a certain amount of salicylates in foods (they are mainly in vegetables and fruits as a natural pesticide) but it's a bucket effect and when the bucket gets full, it dumps.
