Thanks for your feedback. What's that saying about not being able to change until things get so bad that you must.
Food has always been my life. I've been chef/owner of 2 restaurants, managed college dining halls, very into the local foods movement, organic grower and farmer's market vendor. So giving up a rich diversity of foods really feels like a loss.
Now I just need to seem my compelling future of feeling much better in body, mind and spirit. I'm not afraid of the journey but having been such a "doer" all my life, changing my diet feels like such uncertain baby steps.

You're right — it's a lot like moving to a strange land and having to start over, learning all new customs, and eating unfamiliar foods. But remember that a change such as this also opens the door to wonderful new opportunities and experiences. It can awaken us to new interests and new ambitions that lead us to places that we never dreamed of.
Our attitude is our guide, and as we all know, having the right guide when we're in unfamiliar territory can be priceless.
