Congratulations Jean on your trip. So glad your confidence is building. I also sew and use to make all my own clothes and my kids. Then I got into custom drapes, etc. Now, I only quilt.
Paula - I also play golf and when I do I think of nothing else while out there except hitting the next ball. It's the best thing I can do for myself.

So glad to hear that you are out and about! I, too, am debating taking a trip to see my sister (about 6 hours away). She built a beautiful house near Rohobeth Beach, DE. I am scared to death, though, and keep putting off firming up a date. I have not been more than an hour away from home in over two years now, and I really want this to happen. We'll see....
