Hi Portianna, My tests showed that I am intolerant to egg and sure enough my reaction to eggs was gurgling, cramping, and pencil thin stools followed by C (I am C prominent).
To follow up on what Tex was saying, reactions can vary within the same person. For example if I eat peanuts I will ache all over the next day. Soy will give me both body aches and digestive problems.
Glad you are doing better. The weakness is a very prominent and frustrating feature of MC.

The head pain may be caused by dehydration which is very common with D. I had never been bothered by headaches before except the sinus ones and that pain would be localized in that area. Now when I have a headache the first thing I do is drink a glass of water. This also may help with leg cramps. I keep a bottle of water on my night stand in case I wake up with head or leg pain.

In English it's called mesalamine (aka mesalazine). It's the active ingredient upon which Asacol, Lialda, Colazal, Pentasa, Apriso, etc, are based.
This anti-inflammatory medication is not related to budesonide, because it is not a corticosteroid. It's derived from salicylic acid, therefore it's related to NSAIDs, and that's why some of us react adversely to it.
