Just an update from my scope. No ulcers, obstructions, or signs of cancer....praise God! My bladder has fallen, I have an extremely small bladder, and a thin muscle wall. He doesn't want to do surgery yet to tack it. He said it wouldn't help with my pain.

He told me to continue to go without caffeine, citrus, or tomato.😓 Gave me some samples of Uribel. To see him in a year.

If I stick to only water the pain is tolerable, but I sure miss my tiny cup of coffee. Decalf bothers me a little, so maybe I can alternate that to every other day. Thought about trying dairy again, since my enterolab results were clear for dairy.

He told me if my cycle is bad next month, I need to be checked for endometriosis.

Praying the UTIs stay away and this bladder sensitivity fades away......

Martha,

Thats great news! Take some of the worry off of the list....When my bowels are acting up, I have a lot of groin pain as well as other "muscular" type pain in my abdomen. I wonder if it is just swelling in odd places of our digestive tract. I'm glad things checked out o.k.!

Thanks Vanessa, I am glad no other testing is necessary. This urologist was very good and seemed very down to earth.

That is great news, Martha! So glad to hear this update. There are just so many things that get affected in our bodies (or already were, prior to symptoms) with mc. It is truly a challenge not to worry. It's such a good thing that you really liked and felt confident with your urologist.

Hi Martha, I just responded to your PM that you sent me last month. Good advice to avoid tomato, acidic food etc. It certainly does help. When I stopped eating yogurt there was immediate improvement, not sure if that was the lactic acid or the removal of casein from my diet. Possibly both.
Best wishes
