We made it to Montana. I'm on top of Big Mountain in Whitefish. We're getting ready to do the FlowerPoint loop hike. This is Montana in August.

Thank you so much for sharing your trip with us, Brandy! You look great and very healthy, which is wonderful.
I can totally recommend Jari's cooler. It has worked great on long car trips (Western Pennsylvania to Maine where two of my daughters are in college). I have not used it yet on an airplane but I am sure it will come in very handy when I fly to Switzerland next time to visit my family.
Love, Patricia

Dear Brandy,

Lovely pictures, and it's so good to hear that you had a successful trip. That's always an encouragement.

You know how when you don't know what people look like, but you read what they've written, you sort of form a mental image of what they look like? Well, you don't look at all like my mental image of you. I thought you would have dark hair, and here you are a blonde. I have no idea what drives my mental images, but they're usually wrong.

Martha,

I chuckled when I read that as I also pictured her with dark hair and was very surprised that she was blonde! Funny thing.....those mental images!

Love this post Brandy! So glad you had a great time! I hope I get the nerve to fly. My husband wants to take the kids snowboarding in Colorado over fall break. Flying and then driving in snow by myself to find my safe meals while my husband snowboards might be too much for me right now...

Brandy,

For some reason my computer here at work won't show me these images. Someday I'll see what everyone else is seeing. I want to see how "other people" travel. I haven't had the guts  yet.....

It was great to "see you" Brandy.

I thought you'd have lighter hair, as you do. It was good to "see" you and I enjoyed your trip. Some day I may post a picture. I just don't like all that info out there. My main Facebook account is only immediate family and I don't even have a picture there. If you are ever in my southern area, let me know. Deb

Brandy, so wonderful to hear that you did all that travelling and thrived! It must take extremely good planning and careful choices. Relaxation techniques too, I'm sure. Good for you!

Janie,

The cooler I recommended is this: http://www.ebags.com/product/ebags/crew ... srch_as_l1

And it looks like it is even 20 percent off right now............a real deal...........I love it............take it everywhere with me and through the airport a couple of times now................

Jari and Patricia,

Thanks for the cooler recommendation and review! I know what I'm requesting from Santa!

Martha and Jari,

You are right! My natural hair coloring is dark brunette. I went gray in my 20's.

Janie, Cathy and Vanessa,

Thanks for following!

Martha,

When you feel better consider a condo with a kitchen in a snowboarding area.

Deb,

I know what you mean about being incognito. That's me! I will give you a shout if I head south!

Hazel,

Thanks! The original plan was to spend the whole week in California but the Montana leg worked well as we had free accommodations and kitchen.

Gabes,

THanks for following.

I'll try to wrap this up in the next day or so. I have about 8 more shots to upload.
