Binder cholestyramine, Gastrazyme, and Normans are things I have not heard about
Hi Karen,
Cholestyramine is something you may inquire about later down the road after about a year of healing...come back to that one when you get good healing from safe foods lined out and on a routine that seems to be working for you. If then at that point you are noticing yellow with your stool that could mean that your gall bladder enzyme is following thru to the Large intestine so a binder could help for a while during this phase of healing. It is also called BAM - Bile Acid Malabsorption.

Gastrazyme is from Biotics Research it has 5 natural ingredients that help your stomachs HCL produce better HCL, it seems to be working for me, I see Biotics also offers a Betaine HCL product that appears to do about the same thing with helping to increase stomach HCL for better digestion and healing from PPI (omperazole) use.

Normans  well those are just stools but a better name for them
Cheers
Erica

many years ago a user made a typo, instead of typing Normal they typed Norman
so it has become the name for normal poop used by this group

it is mentioned in the Commonly used abbreviations used on this site section of the welcome message and information for newbies area
