Mindfulness techniques

Post by Maximus74 »

Sorry for the slow reply. I've been on a 3 week vacation. I need to keep my anxiety in check by going through meditations, re-focusing my thoughts and in general reconstructing my perspective on why things are happening. For example, if Tex, Gabe et al. had let their issues just be a negative situation, then we wouldn't have this wealth of information available to us so that we don't have to start blindly at step 1.

I am a Christian so my thoughts always go back to what is the purpose of the event I'm experiencing and how do I use it help others e.g. living a purpose driven life.

Hi Supergirl,
I’m so sorry for your struggle, I also have LC. I have also been on the AIP diet and I’m still having WD every day. I know my stress level is partially to blame, and I too meditate, do acupuncture, cbt, ear seeds, eft tapping, you name it! I’m wondering, as a dietician, do you think AIP is better than going plant based? I’m at a crossroads because I recently read how meat can cause diabetes and high fat is bad for us, this kinda shook my paleo world. Then I thought maybe if I ate only fish and AIP? What are your thoughts on this? Going plant based is hard for me because I can’t eat salad, but I can cook my veggies daily too.
Also my naturopath has me on oregano oil to help with sibo. It has helped but can also go right through me, has anyone had success with this?
If anyone else has advice on this, please say :)
Thanks
