Just a hunch, but I suspect he's going for New England Journal of Medicine, and that it would've been much easier (and quicker) to get published in one of the major gastroenterology journals where he's already well published.

As you probably know by now, he has a number of things already published in NJM, widely circulated and respected journal. Like I said, this is just a hunch I have because having this widely circulated could help alot more people.

Maybe someone could contact the lab and see if they have any idea when to expect publication.

One thing that bothers me is that study that was done in Germany without changing the assay from the blood test, only doing it on stool, will confuse the issue. Remember, Dr. Fine had already tried it this way, and found it didn't work, after which, he made a few adjustments, like the dilution changes, etc., to come up with a good fit for stool, rather than blood. Naturally, the German test wasn't as accurate as the blood test because they hadn't made the necessary adjustments. One would think that peers will recognize this difference, but ya never know.

I wish we could hear something directly from the good doc himself,
I'm sure he gets asked this question allllll the time.

Yours, Luce
