A friend of mine started having seizures, grand mal, and then the mini ones. Come to find out several years later, she is intolerant to aspertame(the artificial sweetener). She quit all aspertame and the seizures went away. She weaned off her medicine and no longer takes any medicine even though the doctors all told her she would take medication for seizures for the rest of her life. You never know!
Wow! I can't help but wonder how many other people in this country that might apply to. The fact that most doctors don't seem to believe that food intolerances can cause so many widely diversified problems, certainly doesn't help the odds that they will ever figure out an issue like that. That just goes to show how wrong so many doctors can be.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Her Dr.'s were not convinced or at least they would not admit they were even after resolution of the seizures. She is convinced and is enjoying life with no meds and no seizures. She used to drink Diet soda daily. That is the only thing she changed. The article she read that tipped her off contributes many maladies to aspertame. No one should injest that chemical.
